Botulinum toxin is a purified protein produced by the Clostridium Botulinum bacterium. It is a non-surgical, nurse-administered treatment that can temporarily reduce moderate to severe lines and wrinkles.

When will I see results from an Azzalure®/Botox® treatment?

Results do not appear instantly. It takes 5 to 7 days before the effects of Azzalure® and Botox® start to work, and sometimes up to 2 weeks to see the full effects of treatment.

How does Botulinum toxin work?

How does Botulinum toxin work? When injected into a muscle, Botulinum toxin temporarily relaxes the muscle by blocking nerve impulses. The muscle is temporarily unable to contract so that dynamic wrinkles cannot form.

Is Azzalure®/Botox® safe?

We use two well known brands Azzalure® and Botox® which are both botulinum toxin type-A specifically designed for use in aesthetic indications. Botulinum Toxin has an excellent safety record. It has been used successfully in adults and children in variety of medical conditions over the last 20 years.

What are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are based on Hyaluronic acid which is a substance that naturally exists in your body. They are used to plump and define lips and fill hollow areas on the face.

How long do Dermal Fillers take to work?

Immediately, but it can take a few days to settle. It often looks even better after a day or two.

How long will the results of dermal filler injections last?

The effects of dermal fillers can last for up to 18 months but this will vary from person to person. It depends on their skin, the area treated and the amount and type of fillers used.
